Exhibition Room Building/Construction/Home
What makes a home comfortable?
A new home should be attractive, bright, not too expensive and one thing above all: comfortable. People looking for a new home usually have specific ideas about how it should look. But how can these ideas best be turned into reality? Building experts and designers both know that plastic is often the best solution.

Plastics are also the materials that give a home color, in the form of paints, building coatings, or new coatings for old tiles. Polyurethane can even be used to make decorative floor coatings offering unlimited creative freedom.
And that kind of freedom is increasingly attracting furniture designers as well. For example, numerous distinguished Italian companies are using polyurethane to set trends in modern interior decorating. The possibilities of this plastic range from simple lawn chairs to bath tubs in Porsche design. What's more, the refrigerator in the kitchen incorporates CFC-free polyurethane.
Of course a home also has to get the right amount of sunlight at all times. Once again, it's a plastic that does the job: Makrolon® is used to make not only transparent canopy roofs, but also blinds that ensure glare-free sunlight.
