The name Bayer is also very much associated with sports, both at the grass-roots and at championship level. But did you know that Bayer sports clubs also play a model role in organizing sports activities for the disabled? The Herbert Grünewald Foundation, set up by Bayer AG in 1981, is Germany's biggest foundation for disabled sports, promoting all kinds of sports events and facilities for handicapped people.

Bayer also stands for the arts. Bayer AG's cultural department has been organizing international events since 1907, with all kinds of concerts, theater productions and art exhibitions.
